How to Check SSL Certificate Expiry

3 min read

Checking SSL certificate expiry and validity is important to avoid outages and security warnings. Our free SSL Checker lets you verify a domain’s certificate without installing anything.

What the SSL checker shows

For any hostname you enter, the tool checks: certificate validity (not expired, trusted chain), expiry date, issuer, and subject. You can use it for your own sites or third-party domains to confirm HTTPS is correctly configured.

How to use it

Go to the SSL Checker, enter the domain (e.g. example.com), and run the check. No signup or API key is required. Results are shown in your browser only; we don’t store your inputs.
